Sloppy Joes

1 Lb. Hamburger
diced onion or onion flakes about 2 tb.
salt and pepper to taste
brown above ingredients and then add
2 cans chicken gumbo soup
1/2 cup ketchup
1/8 cup mustard
1/4 cup brown sugar
simmer 10 minutes
serve on hamburger buns with sliced cheddar cheese if desired.

Hawaiian Haystacks

2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup cubed chicken

Combine soup and chicken broth in medium saucepan to make gravy stir in chicken chunks.  Serve over rice with any of the following ingredients as desired.

Chopped green onion
Pineapple chunks
Grated cheddar cheese
Slivered almonds
Coconut
Pimiento
Chow Mein
Noodles
Diced Tomatoes
Chopped celery
Chopped green peppers

Stroganoff

2 tsp. parsley flakes
1 lb. ground beef or cubed steaks
onion flakes (about 2 tb.)
salt and pepper to taste

Brown ingredients.  let simmer for 15 min for hamburger, about an hour for steaks

Add 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup and 2 cups of sour cream. Simmer for 10 more minutes.  Serve over egg noodles or baked potatoes.

Poppy Seed Casserole

Mix Together:

1 - 16oz. Box Ritz Crackers Crushed
2 Cubes Butter, Melted


Mix Together:
2 Tb. Poppy Seeds
4 Cups Chicken or Turkey Diced
2 Cans Cream of Chicken Soup
3 Cups Sour Cream


Add 3/4 of crumb mix to chicken mix.  Top with remaining crumbs.

Heat @ 350 for about 30 min.

Fried Rice

Rice
1 Stick Butter
2 Eggs
Ham
Peas
Sesame Seeds
Soy Sauce

Cook rice and cool  In large frying pan slice up 1 stick of butter or margarine and put cooled rice in pan.  Start frying rice, scramble 2 eggs, and put in with rice.  Add cubed ham and stir together.  Stir often while rice is cooking.  When rice is at the desired doneness you prefer add several shakes of soy sauce, stir well and taste.  Add sesame seeds of you would like.  When you have the amount of soy sauce you want, add frozen peas, continue cooking until peas are warm through.

Baked Rice

2 Cups Rice
3/4 Cube Butter
4 Cups Water
2 Chicken Bullion Cubes
2 Beef Bullion Cubes
2 Tb. Onion Flakes
Dissolve bullion in water and melt butter.  Add remaining ingredients, cover bake @ 325 for 45 min., then uncover, and bake 30 min. more.  (may add dried carrots or parsley for color)
